Furthermore, its infrastructure included 3,638 km of transmission lines and 204,957 km of distribution lines. COPEL possesses concessions for electricity distribution in 394 municipalities throughout Paraná and in Porto União, Santa Catarina. Founded in 1954, its headquarters are located in Curitiba, Brazil.
